Q: i want to go to on a vacation I live in Illinois i want something relatively close, not like china or saudi arabia, but the tropics would be ok i want something cheap, something with history and my wife wants something beautiful any ideas?
A: Cancun is very cheap and many historical sites are a relatively short drive away. The water there is crystal clear and it is beautiful. Just try to stay on the edge of the hotel district, so it's not so crowded,but still close enough to everything.
