Q: We are Starting in San Juan on Saturday Afternoon . We have Exactly 48 hours for the trip. We will rent a car and drive where first? I was thinking El yunque for the first day but not sure if we should drive to the top to save time. Also thinking of going to Playa Mar Chiquita, The caves in Rio Camuy Caves, or maybe a snorkeling trip on Sunday or Bio luminescent bay at night? Not sure what else to do. We are in our late 20's. Not much time so which activities take priority? Thanks Also which Hotels or B&B's should we stay at and where in Fajardo or culebra
A: I would recommend taking a whole day to go to El Yunke since I'ts kinda far from San Juan and there's a plenty things to see, you'll be tired by the end of the day, a good Idea whould be stopping by a beach near by to rest or eat something, oh, and there in El Yunke there is a river with a waterfall that you will probably like (really cold water). Luquillo beach is near. I definetly recommend going to Culebra Island if you want to see one top rated beautiful beach I recommend calling ahead of time to check availability of boat tickets. Is a nice Idea to go to the Bio luminescent bay on Sunday, there's a lot of movement going on there in La Parguera at that time, during the daytime there you can rent a boat and go to the little island of your choice that are really near, and be there by your own.You always have San Juan bay which has a good nightlife. The caves are good but I personally like better what I said before.Good luck! any question you can email me.
