Q: What do you think about Middle Eastern Architecture? What about it do you like and dislike?
A: .....I can't recall middle eastern architecture in the books but what I noticed here there are many old buildings constructed in the kingdom without aesthetic design like the buildings are constructed like boxes in squares or rectangles and with big windows that are always closed. Usually the color of the building is a shade of brown, sienna, beige, off white and dirty white. They are more looking to the big space of the area rather than the design and finishings. Also, in the residential houses, there are many divisions of rooms and sometimes its confusing because there are many doors and rooms especially in the big houses.....what I found out there are areas for males only and areas for females only......whheeww!
