Q: This is for an assignment in Geography and I have to figure out the RELATIVE LOCATION of Whistler, BC. If you don't know what relative location is, here's the definition: Gives the location of a place according to some known landmark. (Example: north of California) I don't know what's around Whistler so hopefully somebody on here knows. I tried google but I was unsuccessful. Anybody know?
A: Whistler, BC is north of Squamish, BC which sits at the head of Howe Sound. It is approximately 1 1/2 hours drive north of Vancouver. Whistler is also south of the community of Pemberton, BC. All these communities are on Highway 99.
